Golden Ears Camping

​We’re excited to announce our next VanCity Connect adventure — a camping trip to Golden Ears Provincial Park! This is your chance to escape the city, explore the wilderness, and spend a weekend immersed in nature with an amazing group of people. Golden Ears is one of BC’s most beautiful parks, known for its scenic trails, peaceful lakes, and stunning mountain views — the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable camping experience.

​This will be a one-night camping trip. We’ll head out on Saturday morning, spend the day exploring and relaxing at the campsite, and camp overnight on Saturday, returning back by Sunday afternoon.

​We have only 8 spots available — 4 guys and 4 girls — so it’s going to be a cozy and close-knit group. To secure your spot, a $20 non-refundable deposit is required. Please check your email for deposit payment instructions. Your registration is only confirmed once we receive the deposit.

​The estimated cost of the trip is around $150 per person, which covers food, fuel, campsite rental, and shared gear like tents and sleeping bags. Final expenses will be split equally among all participants at the end of the trip, minus the deposit.

​All participants are expected to bring their own tent and sleeping bag, or arrange to share. One tent can comfortably accommodate two people, so feel free to coordinate with a friend or another participant. If you’re missing any gear, we’ll do our best to help pair you with someone who has extras.

​We’ll share meals, play games, go on hikes, and spend the evening around a campfire under the stars. Whether you’re an experienced camper or a first-timer looking to try something new, this is the perfect opportunity to unplug, make friends, and enjoy BC’s beautiful outdoors.
