Bryan is an investor at Alumni Ventures focusing on early-stage startups in AI and blockchain, with particular passion about AI-native and/or blockchain solutions that tackle real-world problems. Previously at PayPal, Bryan led seven acquisitions totaling over $7 billion and evaluated numerous venture investments. Before that, at Deloitte, he advised clients like Google, Disney, and Sony Pictures on strategy and M&A. Notably, he supported Disney's acquisition of Fox and the launch of Disney+. Bryan holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Ryan McRobert, Partner at Fenwick & West
Ryan offers strategic counsel to Web3.0 technology entrepreneurs and growing companies in various technology sectors. He has helped develop new and innovative decentralized structures and models. Serving as "outside general counsel" for emerging growth clients, Ryan excels in SAFE and convertible note fundraising, venture financing, M&As involving digital assets, and DeFi model design. Arry (air-ree) Yu is a 25-year veteran working in advanced technologies, co-founded the North American Blockchain Association (NABA), the GBBC U.S. Blockchain Coalition (USBC), and Chairs the WTIA Advanced Technology Cluster and Seattle’s AI Week. As an investor and serial founder, she’s raised over $35 million. She often plays the role of ‘fractional COO’ for emerging technology companies globally. An educator at heart, she frequently teaches at Columbia University and University of Washington’s (Tacoma) Milgard School of Business and has been featured in Forbes, CNN Money, among others.
