Ripple Ventures is excited to partner with TechTO and NEXT Canada to bring to you... Dwell & Swell - Female Founders Edition!

In celebration of International Women's Day, we're hosting a lunch + coworking session for female founders in Toronto <3 this will be a more casual + intimate setting for sharing, supporting, and learning from each other. The event organizers will also be available to chat about all things + be a sounding board for any ideas you have :)

Meet your Hosts

Marie Chevreir, TechTO

Marie Chevrier is the CEO of TechTO, Canada's largest tech community, and Peerscale, a peer network for scale-up executives. As the founder and former CEO of Sampler, Marie led the company in revolutionizing the product sampling industry, helping brands like L’Oréal and Kroger digitize product sampling for millions of consumers. Her journey—marked by both successes and challenges—inspired her to dedicate the next part of her journey toward fostering Canada’s tech ecosystem with a deep focus on supporting the people behind the companies.

Alexandra McGregor, NEXT Canada

Alexandra, Chief Program Officer at NEXT Canada, leads its three flagship programs: Next 36, Next AI, and Next Founders. With 15 years in non-profits and entrepreneurship, she focuses on venture creation, founder development, and alumni success. She oversees cohort selection, program design, and stakeholder engagement. Previously, she developed national programs at Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada and worked in education policy at The Fraser Institute.

NEXT Canada accelerates the growth trajectory of aspiring and scaling entrepreneurs with education, mentorship, funding and access to Canada's strongest entrepreneurial network. Since 2010 NEXT Canada has supported over 1,100 alumni and launched over 800 ventures who have raised over 3B in capital.

Katie Ko, Ripple Ventures

Katie is an Associate at Ripple Ventures and the Program Lead of the RippleX Fellowship. She joined the firm in 2022 and is responsible for driving deal flow and supporting early-stage founders as they navigate their -1 to 0. She also regularly hosts events for founders & funders, so if you're tinkering with different ideas and want to chat more, she would love to hear from you! (katie@rippleventures.com)
