Event Description:

Want to protect your brand and creative work, but not sure where to start?

Join Leading Ladies Connect, in collaboration with The Canada Plug, for an educational workshop led by experts from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) and Corporations Canada under Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED).

This session is part of our ongoing IP Awareness Series aimed at empowering entrepreneurs, creatives, and small business owners especially women with the knowledge they need to secure their intellectual property.

Why This Matters:

Did you know incorporating your business does NOT protect your brand name?
You might think you’re protected just because your company is registered but without a trademark, your brand can be at risk.

Who Should Attend?

  • Small business owners & startups

  • Creatives (authors, designers, photographers)

  • Coaches, consultants, & brand owners

  • Women-led and women-focused organizations

  • Anyone curious about protecting their ideas & content
