Research Opportunity Town Hall: Drones & Advanced Aerial Mobility

In coordination with the Office of the Vice President for Research, the Aerospace Hub and 47G are excited to host a 90-minute event to organize funding opportunity response teams within the research area of drones, unmanned aerial systems, and advanced aerial mobility. The overall goal of this event is to advance research infrastructure and institutional readiness to support highly competitive and cutting-edge Aerospace and advanced aerial mobility research capabilities.
Research Opportunity Town Hall: Drones & Advanced Aerial Mobility

Time: 10am-12pm
Location: Virtual (Zoom)
During the event, attendees will:
Identify and share emerging focus areas and infrastructure needs to advance within this space.
Identify and share potential large-scale and relevant funding opportunities.
Unite, catalyze, and develop teams of faculty to pursue emerging funding opportunities.
Dr. Jake Hochhalter, Dr. Lance Richards, and Dr. Kam Leang will discuss current efforts within this research space at the University of Utah and highlight potential research funding opportunities in this field to pursue. Researchers already engaged in this area, those interested in participating in these response teams, and individuals looking to contribute are encouraged to attend.
