​Indonesia's startup ecosystem has rapidly grown, yet recent governance failures in high-profile startups such as eFishery, Zilingo, and Investree have negatively impacted investor confidence, fundraising capabilities, and the general perception of private markets in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. Despite strong economic fundamentals, a systematic improvement in governance standards is essential to sustain the ecosystem's growth and credibility.
