Welcome to this series of ECOMsquare Flash Talks - an opportunity to hear and connect with e-commerce leaders in Vancouver. A space to share any insights and resources that could be helpful for other fellow e-commerce founders/owners, service providers, professionals and students interested in this field.
EVENT FORMAT:
Like always, we'll start with mingling and networking over drinks and light snacks.
We'll have 2-3 industry experts/thought leaders take the "stage", each armed with 5-10 minutes to share their game-changing strategies, trends, and secrets for e-commerce success. After each talk, you'll have 10 minutes to dive deeper into the topic with the speakers during the Q&A session.
And we'd like to close the night with a quick community pulse check. Here's your opportunity to share any project, challenge, event, campaign, etc. you have going on with the rest of us. Need feedback, advice, connections, and more? This is your time to let us know how we can support you.

After raising over $300k for the Brio Kitchen Box through 454 backers, he’s looking to use his expertise to help new founders launch their products with an excited group of backers behind them. 6:40 - Protips on Working with Lawyers and Other Professional Advisors: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly with Steve Parr. Steve Parr is an estate planning and corporate lawyer who founded Parr Business Law in 2017. Steve focuses on supporting business owners and their families in starting, growing, and exiting their businesses. An entrepreneur at heart, Steve founded and sold a vacation rental company before launching his law firm. Steve is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Professionals (STEP), a Certified Executor Advisor (CEA) and helps support and mentor other lawyers through the Boutique Counsel Network.
7:00 - Who’s Buying What? with Kahlil Ashanti. Kahlil Ashanti is a full-stack developer, actor and tech entrepreneur who has performed magic in Japanese at Caesars Palace and was selected twice for Cirque Du Soleil. He is the Founder and CEO of Mantis XR, which is a no-code CMS that makes it easy for e-commerce merchants to launch high-end 3D storefronts with Shopify, Amazon and more. His job in the Air Force was breakdancing for troops in some of the most dangerous parts of the world.
