About us
Isometric is the world’s most rigorous carbon removal registry with a mission to ensure the transition to carbon removal happens responsibly and fast. As carbon markets mature, buyers are rapidly shifting their attention and purchases from low-quality temporary carbon offsets to high-quality durable carbon removals. The Isometric Standard sets the world’s most robust set of rules for removing carbon, raising the bar for scientific rigour, transparency, and incentive alignment to address the problems that plagued the traditional carbon offset market. The Isometric Registry provides a permanent audit trail for all credits issued by Isometric, and a radical new level of transparency, allowing the underlying information behind every credit to be reviewed and scrutinised by experts, in order to build trust.
Women in Carbon is a networking initiative dedicated to empowering and amplifying the voices of women working in the carbon industry. Its diverse community includes women who are founders, analysts, traders, and policymakers, who contribute to the development and scaling up of climate capital in both the Global North and the Global South. Since its inaugural event in March 2023, WiC have organised a range of panel discussions and networking sessions and established regional chapters to promote international collaboration and connection. WiC is active in the UK, the Netherlands, Switzerland, France, USA, Canada, Singapore, and Brazil, and are continuously exploring further avenues for expanding our presence. People of all genders are welcome to attend WiC events.
Plural is an early-stage investment fund that backs the most ambitious founders on a mission to change the world through technology. It launched in June 2022 with the aim to give serious founders in Europe investors with company-building experience to match their ambition. Based in Tallinn, Estonia and London, UK, Plural’s mission is to have GDP-level impact on Europe, address systemic risks and reduce the opportunity gap worldwide through the companies it backs.
