Biodiversity x Animal Welfare @PaloIT
🍃 Join us for an inspiring and thought-provoking Biodiversity x Animal Welfare night where experts, advocates, and changemakers come together to explore the vital connections between protecting Singapore’s rich biodiversity and ensuring the welfare of its incredible creatures. The panel will be followed by an interactive Biodiversity Collage session.
What is the Biodiversity Collage?
A 3-hour collaborative learning session where participants learn about the interconnectedness of all life on Earth. Thanks to a science-based set of cards (based on the IPBES reports), discover the fundamental interactions within biodiversity as well as the causes and consequences of its decline.
What to expect from the Collage:
. Learn about biodiversity by exploring a few key ecosystems
. Play together with the cards and figure out the links between them
. Get creative & share!
. Debrief and brainstorm on take-home actions from the workshop
Objective of the Panel:
Promote awareness of Singapore’s biodiversity and ethical treatment of animals, fostering community-driven conservation. This session seeks to address urban wildlife challenges, human-animal coexistence, and sustainable practices. The panel also emphasizes collaboration to align conservation and welfare efforts with national and global sustainability goals.
