Having coached hundreds of tech leaders and founders in Silicon Valley and Singapore, Karen Tay is attuned to the unique challenges of Asian tech leaders who operate in cross-cultural environments. She has crafted this interactive, hands-on workshop for the Block 71 and Singapore Global Network community, targeted at tech leaders with at least 8 years of experience and/or founders.

Who is Karen?
Karen Tay's career spans Singapore and Silicon Valley where she has advised, created strategic communications for, and coached start-up CEOs and CTOs, Cabinet Ministers and Non Profit Executive Directors. She has led at senior levels in the Singapore Government and a high growth start-up. She is currently CEO and Head Coach at Threshold Allies, a global talent consulting and coaching practice focused on Silicon Valley and Singaporeans early stage start-ups (Seed to Series B). She is also Co-Founder at Her Life Ally, which supports women through challenging workplace situations. She is faculty at Singularity University, where she teaches at the Executive Program.
