Compound Editing Onboarding
In Compound, the magic happens in the edits. Every one of your pieces will benefit from the rich perspectives of your peers. And by editing, you'll improve your own writing and develop idea-based relationships with fellow writers.
In this session, Compound's Editorial Advisor, Elisa Doucette, will review editing best-practices to inform your own edits in the community. Elisa's work has been featured in publications including The New York Times and the Boston Globe, and she's the editor for many of the Internet's top authors.
In the session, you'll also have a chance to put your editing skills to work by editing an active draft alongside a fellow member.
If you have a draft ready for edits, feel free to bring it, but that's not required.
