Learn how to articulate your ideas clearly in portfolios, cover letters, and presentations, ensuring that your first impressions resonate with potential employers, clients, or partners.
Describing your projects effectively without relying solely on visuals
Effectively using keywords in portfolios to supplement visual storytelling. Avoiding generic buzzwords
Express your unique design perspective/personality through your writing
WID x Spitfire presents:
Beyond the Visual, a storytelling workshop series
Whether it’s presenting to a client, leading a team meeting or pitching a concept, great spoken and written communication is an essential skill for designers. It’s also a little outside many of our comfort zones!
Throughout this workshop series, we hope to provide a broad foundation of useful storytelling techniques and a friendly environment in which to practice them. Light food and drink to be provided.
