​​The theme for this session will be Blocky People. We’ll be creating Blocky People, built up using a squarish grid and simple shapes, a limited colour palette, and a bit of improvisation.

​This is inspired by two personal projects: a recent bathroom mural/towel hook thing, and a series of wooden figures.

​​​​​What Will We Do?

​​I'll guide you through some exercises in improvised drawing within a grid-like structure. We'll start making marks and see what happens as we go! We'll meet on video call.

​​​​​What Do We Need to Bring?

​​​Bring your favourite sketching app and tools, such as Procreate, Photoshop, or even paints. Basic sketching tools like paper and pencil work great. Doing the refining and colour part will be easiest on digital media.
