Let's Walk! West Side—Ewa Bike Path
Let's holoholo to the west side! Come take a walk on Ewa’s bike path, West Loch Bike Path, and connect with the community along a nice and easy 3-4 mile trail along Pearl Harbor.
Saturday, March 22, 2024
4PM - 6PM
3 miles (Loop)
Terrain: Flat, Dirt, Paved
The Walk
Step onto the West Loch Bike Path in Ewa, a beautiful stretch of the larger Leeward Bike Path connecting Kapolei to Aiea.
As we walk, we’ll pass through the Pearl Harbor National Wildlife Refuge, home to rare birds and native plants. Our loop takes us to Kapapapuhi Point Park, where you can pause at the docks and gazebos to take in the peaceful views of West Loch, the west of Pearl Harbor—a place that once thrived with fish, oysters, crabs, and even sharks.
With the Leeward Bike Path now open, there’s a renewed appreciation in the area. Ongoing efforts to care for the coastline will continue to highlight and restore the natural beauty of the island.
Option dinner at Zippy's after the walk.
✨ Join us and experience great people, history, and a great walk! ✨
