Weird Pride Day 2025 with Robin Ince, Josie Long, Kate Fox and Fergus Murray
The 4th of March is Weird Pride Day, and 2025 will be the fifth one!
This is a day for everyone who has ever felt or been called 'weird' to celebrate the things that make them different, in any way they see fit.
Fergus Murray will be talking with Robin Ince and Kate Fox about weirdness: of ourselves and other human beings; and where weirdness fits in to society, and nature at large.
Robin and Kate are performers, writers and broadcasters, as well as being the best kind of weirdos.
Robin is a host of The Infinite Monkey Cage (with Brian Cox) and Book Shambles (with Josie); his next book, Normally Weird and Weirdly Normal, will be out on the 1st of May.
Kate is a host of Neurotypicals Don't Juggle Chainsaws (with Nic King) and regularly appears on The Verb; her recent books include Bigger on the Inside. Kate is a stand-up poet.
Fergus started Weird Pride Day, and is a writer, educator and autistic community organiser.
This event is hosted by AMASE, Autistic Mutual Aid Society Edinburgh. It is free to attend, but a donation is encouraged to allow us to continue doing this kind of thing.
