AI Salon : Emotions & Companionship [Berlin]
How can AI help us understand, navigate, and guide our emotions, and what does that mean for how we relate to each other?
More and more, people turn to AI agents to help manage tasks. Emotional support might be next.
Meta promises digital friendship. Others such as Janus (@repligate) are already finding companionship with Claude. Some feel more seen by their AI than by the people around them.
Can AI actually help us be more aligned with ourselves and each other?
Or is some social infrastructure missing, something we haven't built yet, to prepare us as a society?
