Kristin Kent is an investor and advisor at Expa, where she works to identify and support talented founders. Expa is an early-stage venture fund started by Garrett Camp (founder of Uber). Before joining Expa, Kristin amassed over ten years of operational experience at venture-backed startups, most recently at Modsy. She has also held growth and product marketing roles for Calm, Foursquare, Bloom Energy, and Rocket Fuel.

Maria Pope serves as a Programs Manager for Black Girl Ventures. She works with founders to grow and scale their businesses through BGV’s six-week accelerator program, JetPack, that founders enter following BGV’s signature style crowdfunded pitch competition. Maria is passionate about women’s economic empowerment through entrepreneurship and is honored to work in a role supporting courageous female-identifying founders. Previously, Maria worked at Mission City Renewal, supporting social entrepreneurs in San Antonio, Texas.

​Sruti Bharat is passionate about creating equal access to economic opportunity, especially for underrepresented minorities, women, first-gen students, and underdogs. She manages the venture program at All Raise to advance women in the venture ecosystem into check-writing roles. Sruti also founded and runs a nonprofit called FutureMap, which helps first-generation college grads navigate their transition to the workforce.
