Get ready to immerse yourself in art, nature, and creativity! Join us for an exclusive day of exploration at Storm King Art Center, where we'll discover outdoor sculptures, connect with fellow creatives, and unleash our artistic talents in the heart of the Hudson Valley.

🎨 Day Outing Details:

Date: September 22, 2023

Departure Time: Leave NYC at 8am, Depart Storm King at 6pm

Location: Storm King Art Center, 1 Museum Rd, New Windsor, NY 12553

Whether you're an experienced artist or a lover of creativity, this event is crafted for you. From tram tours to plein-air painting workshops, enjoy a rich program filled with activities and options to make the day uniquely yours.

🎨 What to Expect:

Group Activities (Gather Covers):

Inspirational Tour: Embark on a Tram Tour through Storm King’s grounds, absorbing information about its history, art, and landscape. Each tram seats up to 47 people. Length: 30-45 minutes.

Delicious Dining: Enjoy an outdoor cafe lunch or indulge in a Picnic Plate Lunch, including various mouth-watering options. GF and Vegan available on request.

Creative Collaboration: Engage in plein-air painting with our very own, Christophe Jammet, aka CJ. Bring your own supplies and capture the essence of Storm King.

Flexible Adventures (Individual - Your Expense):

Bike Exploration: Rent a bike and explore the landscape at your own pace. Cycle along the designated paths and discover new angles of the outdoor sculptures.

Collection Highlights Tram Tour: Attend a narrated 30-minute tram tour of collection highlights. Seating is limited, and tram tours run at various times throughout the day.

Self-Guided Art Walk: Wander through the outdoor galleries and take in the breathtaking combination of art and nature. Maps are available to help guide your exploration.

Photography Exploration: Bring your camera and capture the stunning views and artistic masterpieces that abound at Storm King. The landscape and art installations provide endless opportunities for creative photography.

Local Amenities and Shopping: Visit the Storm King store for unique souvenirs or enjoy a snack at the café. Explore nearby local amenities and make the most of your day.

🚗 Travel Options:

BY CAR / RIDESHARE: Directions via Google Maps. Gather will be renting 2 Cars, 6 passengers - one leaves from Beacon and the other from our NYC office. We also encourage folks to rideshare if and where possible!
BY BUS: Coach USA – Ticket package available from Manhattan
