Chi Sao: Sensitivity Training { Developing Through Play } The Chum Sut Wing Tzun 2 Man Fight Training Drills, or Chi Sao in this context, are a set of Short and Simple Drills for Developing The Fundamentals and Specifications for Chi Sau The exercises show you How To Use Your Opponent's Sensory Input To Your Advantage They are NOT Sparring NOR a replacement for it. As said earlier they are a Fight TRAINING Drill to Develop certain Aspects of the system Depending on the Drill you are doing The concept of “Sticking" to the opponent and the exercises used to build Automatic Responses are referred to as "Chi Sau (also known as "sensitivity training"). Chi Sau or Sticking Hands refers to the principle of "sticking" to the opponent and the Training Techniques utilised to create Instantaneous Responses when they make contact . By keeping their arms in contact while doing techniques, Chum Sut Wing Tzun practitioners teach one another How To Recognise Changes in Body Mechanics, Pressure, Momentum, and “Feel."
