Bliže community: Meeting and open talk “How do we build friendships” with Nastya Petrashkevich and Ana Popović

​About the event

​The second meeting of the Russian-Serbian project “Bliže” will feature entrepreneurs Nastya Petrashkevich and Ana Popović. We will discuss how friendship differs in Russia and Serbia, what prevents Russian-speaking emigrants from quickly finding local friends, and why they tend to stay in an immigrant “bubble“. As well as how to become a member of the Serbian community if you are a foreigner and why in general it is necessary to work specifically on the creation of different communities.

​Participants of the event will be able to talk with speakers and each other, ask questions, express their views, and exchange contacts with interesting people.

​The goal of the “Bliže” project is to create a space for meaningful communication between local residents and Russian-speaking immigrants, where personal experience is more important than formal expertise. We believe that we can give each other a lot of inspiration and benefit, exchange important ideas, and learn something new. We want to get closer.

​The event will take place in the Kuća Umetnica space.

​About the speakers

​Nastya Petrashkevich is the Director of Operations of coworking and community for startups Haos Community Space and co-founder of the Russian-speaking online community VSE SVOI.

​Ana Popović is an entrepreneur, designer of handmade clothing and footwear, owner of the brand Ana Popovic Shoes, and organizer of local brands markets.
