Who's this event for?
People interested in mentorship and connections around journalism, writing, or becoming an author. Anyone curious about these topics from a neurodivergent-lens is welcome :)
The Plan
The first hour
Eric will introduce himself and share a bit about his career story and how he got into writing about autism as a journalist when he never expected to.
Then he'll share actionable tips around writing - whether it's writing a book, conducting journalism, or sending a press release
We’ll end the first segment with an interactive Q&A, where you can ask Eric about his career, tips, or experiences in a low-pressure environment
The remaining 30 min
For anyone who'd like to stay on and meet other attendees, we'll use this as an opportunity to open up breakout rooms with prompts to help you connect
Prompt 1 - what brought you here?
Prompt 2 - will be determined based on areas of interest that emerge during the interactive chat with Eric
Note: This event will be recorded. Recordings of the event will be made privately available to ND Connect members and hosted under the "resources" page of the ND Connect platform.
