​Emotional Self-Responsibility

​NOTE: This is a continuous, FOUR-PART series. It meets Mondays May 13, 20, 27, and June 3.

​In this workshop, we'll start by looking at how we get stuck in repeating conflicts and the ways we feel out of control and disconnected with how we feel. We'll start by understanding how our nervous system influences our reactions explore and how our bodies are biologically built to respond to threat. We’ll also examine how the narratives we create turn into beliefs, and that what we think about who we are determines what is possible as we strive to heal, change and grow. Next we’ll take a look at victim consciousness, its impact on relationships, and that ways it hinders empowerment and change. Once we see our patterns clearly, we'll learn powerful techniques to manage our emotions, gain control over our choices, tell empowering stories about ourselves and hone our communication skills to access greater authenticity and foster deeper connections to get the most out of our life experiences.
