Speaker Bios:

David Thomson has a technology career spanning over 25 years leading multiple highly innovative tech development and large ecosystem formation efforts. He was part of the early team at MuleSoft, an integration company acquired by Salesforce in 2018 for $6.5bn. He also co-founded the first artist rights blockchain company, Artlery, which sold to AI company, Verses, and he was the architect of the quality control supply chain for Disney. He co-authored the IEEE HSTP Hyperspace Transaction Protocol and has since founded Regenerative Industrial, a climate-tech software company.

Vanessa Nabhani has built a successful career as the operational backbone for scaling in the fashion and beauty industries. She is the Founder and CEO of PlayLab Beauty, an innovative physical retail concept that brings a curated selection of beauty products from Korea and Japan to U.S. consumers. Previously, she was part of the founding team at luxury retailer, Violet Grey, and a key player in the pre-IPO leadership at Farfetch North America.

Bill Weathersby is a serial founder of over 10 companies primarily in the technology and clean-tech space. He has raised over $100mm for founder-led companies, and now as an angel investor and part of AngelList, NFX, and Axial, he is currently invested in 12 founder-led companies. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and is on the Board of the McFerrin Center for Entrepreneurship at Texas A&M. 

Danielle Gopen has a two-decade track record of fostering innovation and driving growth across financial services, healthcare, technology, and more. As an operator turned executive coach and advisor, she works with high-performing leaders at private and public companies across the globe including Uber, GoodRx, and UBS. She is a Founding Partner at Next Stage Trajectory, and the founder of DG Executive Advisors. She also co-hosts “The AI Coach”, a top-rated podcast at the intersection of AI and human behavior.
