Join us for an afternoon of shared experiences at Cherry Beach! As we emerge from winter/spring, let's celebrate the simple joys that make life worth living through sharing activities/items.

What to Expect
This is an interactive gathering where participants are encouraged to bring and share something that represents "the good life" to them. Whether it's flying kites, playing music, teaching a simple craft, or sharing a favorite beach game - bring something that brings you joy and can be shared with others! (I’m bringing my kites, there are never too many kites, so bring yours too).

Everyone is welcome! If you’re human, you’re welcome. This is an all-ages, family-friendly event perfect for:

People seeking outdoor activities
Community members wanting to share their passions
Anyone interested in trying new activities

Individuals who have been spending time away from social spaces (we welcome your presence at whatever level feels comfortable).

Flow of the Day:
12:00 PM to 12:30 PM - Arrival and welcome
12:30 to 3:30 - Group people to share their activities
3:30 PM to 4:00 PM - Winding down, packing up belongings, saying goodbye.

We may take photos or short videos during the event to capture the atmosphere. If you prefer not to appear in any images, please let us know in advance or notify program helpers upon arrival. We’ll work to honor your preference so you can fully enjoy the experience.

Q1: Do I need to be a certain type of person to join this event?
A1: Everyone is welcome no matter the age, gender, race, orientation, ethnicity, ability, political affiliation, etc. We prefer people who are kind, open, and nuanced in their approach when meeting new people. We prefer people who ask questions in good faith rather than leading with assumptions. If this sounds like you, we’d love to have you.
Q2: Do I need to bring something? Can't I just show up?
A2: Yes, this is a very sincere request to bring something (a game, food, music, craft) that means something to you and makes you feel like life is worth living. The vibe is earnest. We will not accept requests that don't meet this basic criteria of having a single thing to share. That said, we can't beef you personally if you show up with nothing.
