Paging Through the City- Set in NYC
Are you looking for a new book club in NYC? Then look no further :)
There are so many fantastic books about the greatest city in the world, so let's read them! Each month we will pick a book set in New York City to discuss. Books will generally stay literary fiction, but can be open to other genres!
July's pick is City of Girls by Elizabeth Gilbert, set in the Theater District in the 1940s. Please read the book before so we can discuss! Exact location tba but expect it to be around Bryant Park/Times Square!
Ticket includes on theme snacks and drinks, conversation about the book, and meeting other bookish friends!
My vision for this book club is for it to be a more intimate group of readers that is willing to meet monthly to discuss and build relationships. The group size will remain small so everyone can share their thoughts and be a part of the discussion!
Paging through the City- Set in NYC will generally meet on the second to last Saturday of the month. This will allow for a bookish conversation and then some time to explore the area as well (optional).
You can plan on next book club being August 23rd!
