Mentoring in Medicine x Bronx Academy of Health Careers
We are excited to announce an upcoming PAID opportunity on Friday, April 11, 2025 at the Bronx Academy of Health Career in lab room 458.
We need you to serve as student instructors and help facilitate the 'Save A Life' lab. This paid opportunity ($25/hr) is open to all members of the MIM community such as participants in the Medical Pathways program, the Rising Docs programs, and current/former MIM instructors.
Your Role
Your participation will involve:
1. Attending the Orientation Session (1:00 PM - 1:45 PM)
- Learn everything you need to know about the lab and get hands on practice at the mandatory orientation session.
2. Facilitating the CPR Lab (1:45 PM - 2:30 PM)
- You will work with students to make sure they are on task and help them complete the 'Save A Life' lab .
3. Post-Lab Clean-Up (2:30 PM - 3 PM)
- You will help maintain a clean classroom by assisting with breakdown, monitoring/tracking supplies, disinfecting materials, etc.
Dress Code
The dress code is business casual.
Materials & Preparation
An orientation sheet and lesson plan will be provided and we will review them together during the mandatory orientation session.
