About the Speaker
Marc is driven by his passion to assist others and make a difference. He is an entrepreneur, a Certified Master Business/Executive Coach and Area Representative with FocalPoint Coaching. Marc is also EQ Certified and trained in Conversational Intelligence®, The Prioritized Leader framework and as a PQ (Positive Intelligence) coach where he supports others to increase their mental fitness. Through his coaching, he inspires his clients to define and achieve their greatest visions of professional success. Marc utilizes proven coaching programs, personal and team development tools and years of business and leadership experience to help business leaders and their teams overcome obstacles, improve their effectiveness and enhance the performance of their companies.
Marc is the son of a second-generation business owner with a deep-seated passion for business and helping others succeed. He was also a co-founder and the COO of Accellient Partners LLC, a drug development consulting firm, Synchroneuron Inc, a venture-backed biotechnology company and Ternus Pharma, Inc, a seed-stage start-up pharma company.
Marc was also previously the COO of Aptuit Consulting, a global biotech practice where he was responsible for managing all operating, financial & business development activities. Prior to Aptuit, Marc was with Dunkin’ Brands and had vice president roles where he was alternately responsible for accounting, tax, finance, business process improvement, call centers and shared service operations. Marc started his career in the Entrepreneurial Services Group at EY, he received a BS in Accountancy from Bentley College and was a licensed CPA in Massachusetts for ~20 years.
Marc is a member of Boston Harbor Angels where he is an active investor and occasionally fills Board roles on select portfolio companies. Marc is also a Co-Chair the Boston Chapter of The Financial Executives Networking Group, a co-founder of the Boston Executives Networking Group and an Executive Coach with the Mass Life Science Center Next Gen Initiative. Marc loves supporting others in their development and growth so that they can make a meaningful difference in both their business careers
