Eeyore’s Birthday
Eeyore’s Birthday Party in Austin - This is a FREE event!
The event lasts all day, I will be there closer to noon, but feel free to come whenever you want and bring whoever. Below is a description of the event:
Celebrate Austin’s most whimsical tradition—Eeyore’s Birthday Party! This quirky, free-spirited event is a local favorite, held annually in Pease Park. It’s a day filled with live music, drum circles, local vendors, games, and plenty of colorful costumes. The party started in the 1960s as a spring picnic for UT students and has since evolved into a community-wide festival celebrating creativity, fun, and togetherness.
What to Wear: You'll see all ages, all styles, and festival-like attire including far less clothing than you'd see on a regular day at the park (no shirts, no shoes required). Additionally, things get wilder as the day goes on at Eeyore's Birthday Celebrations, so keep that in mind if you plan to attend as a family.
Embrace the playful vibes by dressing in bold, vibrant colors, flower crowns, fairy wings, or even costumes inspired by Eeyore and the Hundred Acre Wood. Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be wandering the park, and don’t forget to bring sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and a blanket for lounging.
Get ready to join a uniquely Austin celebration that’s guaranteed to leave you smiling!
