ML Speaker Series: Kevin Li

​Join us for a talk by Kevin Li, a Ph.D student in CMU's Machine Learning Department advised by Albert Gu and Zico Kolter. Kevin recently published Transformers to SSMs: Distilling quadratic knowledge to subquadratic models and Inference Optimal VLMs Need Only One Visual Token but Larger Models, among other works. He is interested in developing efficient deep learning architectures and understanding how models learn.
