With Linkedin Audio Events going away I thought I would do this session on Google Meet.

Whilst this is not strictly "Social Audio" we do need to get creative with our meetings from now on as we have lost a vital feature and we can collectively decide on a replacement as a community.

​What Is Google Meet?

It is one of two apps that constitute the new version of Google Hangouts, the other being Google Chat.

Google Meet allows users to hold online meetings, classes, or presentations with up to 250 participants.

​Some of the features of Google Meet include:

• ​High definition video and audio for clear communication

• ​Screen sharing and real-time captions for easy collaboration

• ​Integration with other Google Workspace apps such as Google Calendar and Gmail

• ​Noise cancellation to reduce background noise during meetings

​Google Meet has become a popular tool for remote work, online education, and virtual events due to its ease of use and robust features.
