

Local Hub Cluj-Napoca: Culture Translated: Turning Values into Action
How do you uncover the true organizational culture of a global company and then equip leaders at all levels to embody and promote it through everyday behaviors?
You are invited to an in-person event, behind the scenes of a one-of-a-kind project focused on uncovering the unique and complex set of norms, rules, assumptions, beliefs, and mentalities that make out the organizational culture of an organization, and on translating the real company values into action.
For this event, we're offering a backstage type of experience by bringing together two organizations that partnered up for a complex organizational development intervention: Betfair Romania Development and Cognitrom-CORG. You will hear how the internal project team collaborated with the team of consultants and worked side by side to map out how culture plays out on the ground.
Through workshops, interviews, and focus groups, they distilled the authentic values that unite people across the business. In addition, they used scenario-based workshops to help leaders translate those cultural insights into practical behaviors, tailoring the learning experience to the everyday realities of their roles.

Oana Demian is Head of HR Business Partnering at Betfair Romania Development, where she’s been shaping people strategies for the past seven years. With a career in HR that started in 2006, Oana brings extensive experience across a wide range of areas—from consultancy and organizational design to business partnering in tech environments. A psychology graduate with a passion for neuroscience, she’s deeply committed to understanding what drives people and how to support their growth. Her approach to HR is centered on partnership, development, and building meaningful connections between individuals and the organization. At the core of her work is a simple belief: when people thrive, so does the culture around them.
Mihai Onaca is a Senior Employer Branding Manager with a background in performative and visual arts. He's been with Betfair Romania Development for seven years, with the last five invested in shaping employer branding and comms in a way that not only attracts top talent but also helps people feel connected, engaged, and proud of where they work. He blends creativity, culture, and strategy to build an employer brand that’s real and relatable. Whether it’s designing a new campaign or finding the right way to tell a story, Mihai brings both a practical and creative perspective to the table. At the heart of it all? Building genuine, lasting connections between people and their workplace.
Cristina Nicule is Head of Cognitrom-Organisations Centre (CORG). With over 20 years of experience in organisational development, she designs and delivers complex organisational interventions and bespoke leadership development programmes.
Rodica Pîrjoleanu is an organisational consultant at Cognitrom-CORG. Her expertise covers team and leadership development, as well as indivudal and team coaching.
Andreea Ibănescu is an organisational consultant, coach and facilitator at Cognitrom-CORG. She designs and delivers meaningful learning experiences for people, teams and organisations.
