ADHD Founders Talk
Please join us for an evening of story-telling, capacity-building, and heightened awareness as we address the topics of thriving (and sometimes surviving) as a founder/innovator with ADHD, and how to optimize collaboration with non-neurotypical co-founders and teammates.
Our Speakers:
Christal Wang is the Founder & CEO of Shimmer Care, the #1 coaching platform for adults with ADHD, that is science-backed and designed by expert clinicians and psychologists. Christal is a founder with ADHD herself, who has harnessed her personal experiences, deep expertise, and uniqueness to help thousands of Shimmer users play to their own strengths and unblock challenges with personalized coaching. Christal’s work and leadership is reflected in her recognition, including Forbes 30 Under 30, Y Combinator backing, and Inc. Female 250 Founders. Learn more about Shimmer at www.shimmer.care.
Dr. Julianna Oláh is the co-founder and CTO of Psyrin, a startup that is pioneering AI-enabled care for mental illness through early detection, treatment-matching and prevention. Julianna is a leading expert in the domain of speech and AI in mental health, with a seasoned background in clinical psychology and machine learning techniques. Psyrin aims to change psychiatry by adding online, objective, quick, accurate and scalable assessments of conditions instead of the currently used subjective methods of interviews and questionnaires. To show a glimpse of this envisioned future, Psyrin released its AI-model to the public to detect neurodiversity, ADHD, and ASD from a few minutes of speech (trysimon.ai).

Why an Event on ADHD?
Oasis Collective has come to be known for doing things a bit differently than our peers and counterparts. This is both by intentional design, but also a reflection of the women who join us to create the safe, educational spaces where we welcome woman-identifying leaders, builders, and innovators (and allies!).
We are so excited to host an event focused on the beauty and the struggles of being a non-neurotypical founder/leader AND working with non-neurotypical founders and collaborators. Having a diverse team and community of women involved in every event and initiative is what we know sets us apart.
That being said, innovation excellence is only at its best when diversity of thought is genuinely and effectively leveraged - but there is no doubt that the tech industry has a lot of progress yet to be made on this front. With these core pieces of wisdom in mind, we are pleased to invite you to an evening of story-telling, connection, and knowledge-exchange so we can do better for ourselves, each other, and users of the wonderful products and services we create.
