About Event

A practical workshop to get your digital life under control at The Folkestone Bookshop on 27th February. We'll spend two hours together actually organising our digital clutter, because "I'll do it at some point" hasn't worked so far.

We'll each identify what's really holding us back (maybe it's those not-so-forgotten project files from 2014, or that mess of bookmarks you're afraid to open), and then we'll fix it. Right there. Over some good, bookshop-approved music and with tea, coffee and biscuits to keep us energised. It won’t be the party of a lifetime (sorry to let you down) but it won’t be dreadful and boring either, we pinky promise!

💯 Why should you join?

Because you'll leave with a clearer digital space, a physical worksheet for keeping it that way, and the kind of mental clarity you usually only get after a long, well-needed walk (or from obsessively organising your spice cupboard, if you’re weird like me).

🌱 Why am I hosting this?

Hi, it's Francesco, your host. As someone who runs a freelance business, I understand how easy it is for your digital life to become a maze of old drafts and scattered notes. This mess used to frustrate me so much I felt like throwing my laptop out the window.

Which is also why I've spent years learning how living with less—both physically and digitally—leads to clearer thinking and better work. I'm running this event to help others simplify their digital lives and find that same sense of clarity.

🎫 Tickets

Pay-what-you-can workshop with suggested contributions of £7 (£5 concessions).

DM me (click "Contact the Host") if you'd like to attend but can't afford the suggested rates—I have a couple of free tickets to hand out.

🤓 Things to keep in mind

Bring your laptop (some plugs are available but, if possible, have it as charged as possible).

Yes, you can bring that completely disorganized hard drive you've been avoiding eye contact with - we've all been there.

Concessions tickets are available to full-time students, people aged 60+, people seeking asylum, and those receiving benefits. No questions asked.
