Workshop: Google My Business Basics

​Google My Business Basics, taught by Austin Thompson of Thompson Industries, is a one-hour class designed to equip small business owners in West Tennessee with the essential knowledge to effectively utilize Google My Business (GMB). Following this, he will guide you through the practical steps of creating a Google My Business profile, including how to input accurate business information, select the appropriate business category, and verify your business listing.

​After a brief intermission, the focus will shift to optimizing your Google My Business profile for local search. Austin will share insights on how to comprehensively fill out your profile, engage with customers via Google My Business, and enhance your local ranking on Google. The class will wrap up with a Q&A session, allowing you to clear any doubts and ensure you’re fully prepared to maximize the benefits of Google My Business.
