Ourmedia: Cultivating an AI Ready Workforce SF #TechWeek
What does a sustainable, AI-assisted future of work, life, and learning look like for Generation Z in the 2030s? Ourmedia.org is a nonprofit bringing together diverse stakeholders to explore AI-readiness in the future of work, life, and learning. To investigate our question we will host a speaker panel with thinkers from education, industry, and the nonprofit world followed by breakout sessions where participants will explore strategies to support Generation Z's growth into an AI-ready workforce. Participants will be able to hear from thought leaders spanning generation and field before putting their own skills to work in surfacing priorities that will shape the future of work and education.
The purpose of the session is to spark deep thought and conversation about the role of AI and technology in the future of work for Generation Z. Anyone with a passion for AI, workforce development, or the voice of Gen Z is encouraged to join.
The event will begin with a virtual keynote from Gary A. Bolles, Chairman of the Future of Work at Singularity University, followed by a speaker panel that includes Jobs For the Future Senior Manager Sumari Barnes, Outhink AI Chairman Dave Toole, and Senior VP of Public Policy for Bay Area Council Matt Regan. The session will follow with breakout sessions to explore how to prepare the upcoming generation of workers for success in an AI-driven landscape.
