​Internet Safety Basics

​Learn how to protect yourself online in this free, practical workshop. We will give you the tools you need to spot scams, secure your information, and browse the web with greater confidence.

​Join us as we cover essential topics, including:

  • ​Phishing & Scam Red-Flags: Learn to identify suspicious emails, texts, and phone calls.

  • ​Safer Browse & Privacy: Understand and manage your browser's privacy settings to protect your data.

  • ​Local Fraud Reporting: Know the correct local channels to report fraud if you encounter it.

​This session will be led by Andrew Hanus, a Digital Navigator and IT Professional dedicated to making technology safer for everyone.
