

Clearing the Air: LCEF Essay Collection Launch
Labour Climate and Environment Forum and Baroness Young of Old Scone would like to invite you to an afternoon reception in the House of Lords on Tuesday 15th July at 15:30 for the launch of LCEF’s new essay collection on clean air, titled ‘Clearing the Air: Putting Health, Prosperity and Productivity at the Heart of a Decade of Renewal’.
‘Clearing the Air’ explores the political importance of clean air for the labour movement through a range of lenses including public health, social justice and workers rights. The collection has contributions from across the labour movement including MPs, Deputy Mayor of London, and representatives from the TUC, Fabian Society, IPPR and Global Action Plan.
The reception will explore some of the themes from the collection with talks from some of the contributors. Copies of the collection will be available at the reception.
