​In this in-depth masterclass, Golden Globe-winning director Daniel Minahan (Game of Thrones, Fellow Travelers) and Oscar-winning producer Peter Spears (Nomadland, Call Me by Your Name) will take participants through the complete lifecycle of an independent film. Using their latest collaboration, On Swift Horses, as a case study, the duo will explore the creative and logistical process of adapting a novel for the screen – from the initial acquisition of rights and screenplay development to securing financing, assembling the cast, managing production, and steering the film through the festival circuit and into distribution.
