About Event

We are all storytellers. We tell stories to ourselves ALL the time. A big part of growing up and choosing the life we’re creating is being able to tune into the stories and take a step back to separate ourselves from them. That is what this workshop is about.

By understanding the story you are writing - both in your head with your thoughts and out in the world with your actions - you can better understand which reality and future you’re setting yourself up for. Are you the protagonist of your story or the supporting character? What is the driving conflict of your plot? What are the main motivations of your character?

This workshop will walk you through simple writing exercises to make it clear what stories you’re fueling and create the reflective space to decide if you want to keep writing this life story or make some edits. It’s personal work that we do together for shared learning.

Important things to know about this workshop:

  • You do not need to be a writing genius or amateur writer to take this workshop (you do need to know how to write).

  • It does require you to share something personal of yourself.

  • You can take this workshop again and again - because stories never end as long as you have a thinking mind.

  • Warning: You may make some lifestyle tweaks after this workshop

Workshop is led by Melissa Wong, a coach and human enthusiast who makes learning about oneself collaborative and even fun.
