Pooja is an Earth lawyer and Nature-conscious governance practitioner based in Los Angeles. Pooja’s experience as a California attorney laid the foundation to create forms of alternate, inclusive governance and pathways to construct new legal systems using a systems design approach. This brought her to the intersectionality of ecology and law, and the Nature Governance team. Pooja advocates for a just world where all voices are heard and celebrated in the existing system, including Nature’s inherent right to exist. Her experience working with a wide range of clients — vulnerable populations, social entrepreneurs, and artists — positions her to lead with empathy and tenacity.
