Designing from an Emerging Future
To solve complex challenges and serve elegant experiences as technologists and designers, we need to be able to empathize, sense systems, and create novel ideas, innovations, and prototypes. In today’s interactive workshop we practice a simple method to help us ‘learn from the future as it emerges’ using all of our senses. “Stuck” is an embodiment and sensing activity that takes us from our current reality to an emerging future reality in a few simple steps. We can use the “stuck” practice to innovate in our own thinking, in teams, and in complex systems–empowering innovation processes to unfold. Be prepared to interact. All materials provided and no previous experience is necessary.
Today's activity is hosted by Intellibridge (Formerly RVCM). Facilitator Arthur Grau is a DevSecOps service design strategist and Awareness-Based Systems Change Practitioner. He believes that systems change starts with internal change.
