About Event

Join us for the 6th edition of the GenAI Cracow Community meetup, where we will (as always!) continue to explore and discuss the practical integration of Generative AI together. This time, we will dive deep into the power of knowledge graphs and the integration of Generative AI practitioners in everyday tools.

Important note

Due to the growing demand, for this edition, we're implementing a curated registration process.

We encourage all AI enthusiasts and practitioners to apply. Our goal is to create a diverse group of participants who are actively engaged in or seriously exploring AI applications in their work or projects.

This approach is designed to help us maintain high-quality, focused, and practice-oriented discussions that benefit all of the attendees. When registering, you will be asked toplease briefly share your current involvement or interest in Generative AI.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to meeting you.

Agenda

Introduction to Knowledge Graphs: Neo4j in Action by Tomasz
This session will demonstrate how graph databases can easily support the creation of a knowledge-based chatbot. Discover the power and advantages of neural networks with the use of Neo4j, where the creation of nodes, relationships, and data matching play a key role. This approach not only enables the chatbot to interact naturally with the provided data but also ensures significantly higher quality of the returned results through more precise and context-aware information matching, leading to a better user experience.

Custom MacOS Language Assistant: From Local to Cloud by Szymon
Szymon created a Language Assistant integrated with MacOS Shortcuts, streamlining translations and text processing. Built on a locally hosted custom LLM using Ollama, this tool eliminates the need for constant app switching. In his presentation Szymon will discuss the development process and demonstrate how to scale the project by deploying it to a cloud provider with GPU support, enabling the use of larger models without taxing local resources.
