Flavors of Culture: A Potluck Celebration
Hi friends!
I’d love to invite you to an evening of delicious food, rich stories, and cultural connection at our Cultural Potluck Dinner! This event is a celebration of diversity, where each attendee brings a dish representing their culture, a culture they’re inspired by, or a favorite dish that’s been in their family for generations. It’s the perfect opportunity to share your traditions, learn about others, and savor a variety of flavors in a warm and welcoming space.
We’re so grateful to Rachel Patel for generously hosting this event at her beautiful home! 💛
What to Expect:
Food Sharing: Bring a dish to share (enough for 4-6 people) and tell us a little about its cultural significance, why it’s meaningful to you, or its family history.
Cultural Connection: Learn about different traditions, cuisines, and stories through food and conversation.
Community Vibes: Connect with like-minded individuals in a cozy, inclusive setting.
How to Prepare:
RSVP to confirm your attendance and let us know what dish you’ll bring here.
If you’re unsure what to bring, I am happy to provide inspiration or recipes!
Bring your dish ready to serve (labeling ingredients is encouraged for dietary preferences).
Preparing for Conversation:
To make the evening even more enriching, here are a few questions to think about as you prepare to share your dish and connect with others:
What inspired you to choose this dish, and does it hold special meaning for you or your family?
Are there any unique traditions or stories tied to this dish in your culture?
What’s one interesting thing about the cuisine or culture your dish represents that you’d like to share?
This event is all about celebrating diversity, building connections, and sharing joy through food and stories. Your presence and participation will make it truly special. Let’s come together for a night of warmth, laughter, and meaningful conversations. I can’t wait to see you there!
With love,
Kiki
