About your panelists + guests!

Alexx is a photographer & printmaker specializing in process-driven darkroom practices. Often using movement as a tool to convey tension, loneliness, and interdependence, she is known for her slow shutter shots that freeze an elongated moment and her focus on naturally occurring precise and geometric shapes. Co-founder of Livingrooms, a multidisciplinary art space in New York, she uses the venue as both a creative laboratory for her own work and to build community around various artistic practices. As a teacher, she believes in sharing frameworks and techniques as tools that students can incorporate into their own individual style

Jelena (she/her) is a multi-disciplinary artist that’s grown The Confetti Project over the past 10 years, transforming people with playful confetti experiences that reignite their spark and joy for life. She is a first generation Slavic American photographer, experiential designer and content creator also known as “confetti girl.” What started as a creative project in her apartment as she was grieving the loss of her Dad has turned into a mental wellness brand called The Confetti Project that aims to bring PLAY back into adulthood. She teaches people how to embrace the messiness of being human by using confetti as a tool to access joy in times of pain, grief, or adversity. She’s developed a unique way of giving people the space to reconnect to their inner spark, reminding us of the importance of inner child play and nourishing our joy.

David (he/him) is a Career Content Creator, Social Media Strategist, and Studio Host. What started as a creative outlet turned into a full-time career, and now he helps other creatives and entrepreneurs navigate the world of social media while fostering real-life community connections.
