About Event
As a prelude to Rare Evo’s Governance & Dev Day (August 7th), Input | Output is encouraging key stakeholders from across the Cardano ecosystem to join together for two days of focused reflection and forward thinking.
These Cardano Governance Workshops are designed for DReps, SPOs, builders, and governance leaders who are committed to helping Cardano’s decentralized governance evolve and improve.
What to Expect
The workshops are intended to reflect on progress so far and start mapping out the governance journey for 2026. Over the course of the workshops, we will look to cover topics including:
📘 A Review of the 2025 Budget Process
Conduct an After Action Review (AAR) to gather actionable, constructive feedback from a range of perspectives – and begin shaping a more efficient process for 2026.
📜 The Constitutional Roadmap
Identify and start to align on key topics needing clarification or amendment, contributing to a community-validated Cardano governance roadmap for 2026.
🧭 Exploring an Executive Function
Discuss potential structures, roles, and accountabilities for an executive function within Cardano – and how it could support strategic coherence and growth of our decentralized ecosystem.
Who Should Attend?
Input | Output is in the process of inviting a representative group of governance contributors, selected based on delegate weight, community impact, and active involvement in Cardano governance. A number of seats will also be available for additional community participants to join.
For transparency, sessions will also be livestreamed/recorded, and asynchronous input from the wider community will be welcomed.
While we will look to define clear next steps, this is not a ‘decision-making’ forum. Rather, it is an opportunity to gather insights, build a shared understanding and start to align around the priorities that will shape our future course as a community.
