​Founder Poker MTL loves Startupfest

• ​Startupfest vibes are always immaculate, and we want in!

• ​So - we are holding our next event on the Tuesday of Startupfest week. Same format, bu

• ​Fomat will be the same, but we will give some priority to out of towners and will have a few more non player spots.

​What We're About

• ​All are welcome. Haven't played poker before? Don't worry. We hold a Poker 101 at the start of each event.

• ​Curated community. We review every application and curate attendees with a bias toward tech founders and overall diversity.

• ​Keep it chill. It's a business event but very dialed down. So please save your pitches for a follow up call.

• ​Not about the money. $5 buy in, free food and drink. So you can't lose. $$ Please bring cash $$.

• ​ ‼️ Strict No Show Policy ‼️. Each Founder Poker Montreal event is a tournament, so it's essential that we know who is coming. If you sign up, there's a 100% obligation to come, barring life emergencies. Registering & no-showing without notice will get you banned.

​Logistics

• ​Doors open - 6 PM

  • ​‼️ Please note, our hosts are in office-mode until 6 PM. Early guests are invited to explore the beautiful St. Henri neighborhood before we transition to poker-mode.

• ​Poker 101 + Mingling - 6:00-6:45 PM

• ​Tournament - 6:45-9:00 PM

  • ​All tables until ~8:00 PM

  • ​Final table until ~8:45 PM

  • ​Lights out at 9:00 PM
