Tea Conversations : Fishbowl edition + special guest

Welcome to Solei, a social teahouse concept that connects people from different walks of life.
It is your third place, your city’s living room, where we sit down to talk to one another beyond small talk over a shared cup of tea (plus snacks!)

What to expect:
Arrival (~15min): You’ll be sat down in a group as you arrive while the host serves you tea.
Conversations (~75min): Chat with the group over tea in a semi-structured manner. You will each bring questions to place in a fishbowl (depending on the group size, we’ll either speak as one group or break down into smaller groups). We’ll also come together as a group to get to know who’s in the room.
Free flows (~30min): Grab more tea and have amazing conversations.

Dress comfortably (you may need to sit on the floor) and bring your lovely self. Try to come on time (or early), if you are running late send a note to the host via Luma!

Special guest: Adam @teawithadam - Adam is a former UX designer turned certified digital wellbeing educator. He brings 16 years of Chinese tea culture study & practice to in-person facilitation having curated experiences with teams at IDEO, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, Spotify and more. Adam hosts slow tea experiences—an immersive experience, an original human technology which helps us modern folk remember who we are beyond our digital habits and the attendant stresses that take hold of our consciousness. The experience is informed by Gongfu cha [tea with effort] a Chinese tea brewing methodology emphasizing the wisdom of observation instead of judgement, calmly inviting us into meaningful shared experience, free from screens.
