About This Skills Clinic: A business model defines how your company makes money and remains sustainable. This clinic will cover the essential elements of a business model, including customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, revenue streams, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, and cost structures. We will delve into various types of business models such as SaaS, subscription, freemium, marketplace, service-based, and more, examining their advantages and challenges. You will learn how to use the business model canvas, a strategic management tool, to visualize and iterate on your business model. 

Skills Clinic Objectives: 

  • Understand the components and importance of a business model. 

  • Explore different types of business models and their applications. 

  • Learn how to create a business model canvas. 

  • Develop skills to analyze and iterate on your business model. 

  • Engage in practical exercises and discussions to apply concepts to your own startup.
