About Event

During DC Climate Week, Project Peoples and Regenintel are teaming up with the Partnership for Digital Justice (an initiative of Pyxera Global) to host a space for exchange, learning, and collaboration.

While many climate solutions are gaining traction, it’s important to recognize that Indigenous Peoples have long held the wisdom and practices needed to live in harmony with the Earth.

During this interactive session, we’ll explore how Indigenous knowledge can shape more just, regenerative climate futures—bridging traditions with science, systems thinking, and climate justice.

 Attendees will:

  • Hear stories and perspectives on Indigenous climate leadership and its vital role in the global response to ecological breakdown

  • Partake in a World Café or Constellation Mapping activity designed to surface shared patterns, tensions, and pathways forward

There is seating for 80 people, the rest is standing room.

Project Peoples is a groundbreaking initiative that researches, communicates and empowers the implementation of Indigenous solutions to address the global climate crisis. Rooted in the wisdom and practices of Indigenous communities around the world, our work seeks to bridge the gap between local ways of knowing and modern scientific approaches.

The Partnership for Digital Justice is an initiative of Pyxera Global and aims to coalesce a movement to preserve and protect cultural heritage, archives, records, and artifacts that are threatened by the ravages of climate change, conflict, and time — particularly those from communities across the Digital Divide, such as Indigenous Communities.

By registering for this event, you agree to share your registration information with the organizers of DC Climate Week.
