Workshop - Navigating Tech Sales

​What to expect:

You'll join an interactive session led by two experienced sales professionals who have built careers across Cybersecurity, SaaS, and Enterprise Sales. Together, they’ll break down exactly how to transition into tech sales — whether you’re coming from engineering, another field, or starting fresh.

You’ll learn through real-world examples, live roleplays, and straight talk on compensation so you know what to expect. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clear understanding of the different sales roles, how to position yourself in interviews, and the proven strategies to land your first role in Tech Sales.
This session will be led by:

• ​Raashid — Sales Engineer in Cybersecurity and cloud with 5 years of experience designing and delivering solutions that have serviced global organisations including Formulae 1, Lloyds Bank, The United Nations, Dell, Apple, AWS, and Microsoft. Beyond his engineering career, he has helped people break into tech and now advises professionals on transitioning from engineering into Tech Sales.

• ​Zakariya — A Global Senior Account Executive in the Cybersecurity and Telecoms space, and Founder of the Silicon Sales Institute. He has coached over 200+ people into Tech Sales, with students going on to work at global leaders such as Zscaler, Hubspot, Dell, and Palo Alto.
